A monthly compilation of newspaper clippings
The Centre has initiated a project NEWS ON NORTH EAST INDIA to put together some of the widely circulated newspaper reports on a variety of issues, such as, reports on peace, insurgency, political parties, NEC, the neighbouring countries, immigration, displacement of peoples etc. The monthly issues of NEWS ON THE NORTH EAST is expected to be of interest to research scholars working on different problems of the region, academicians and the public at large. As and when we see it appropriate, additional themes will be included in the NEWS.
