The North Eastern Regional Centre of the ICSSR is proposed to hold a three-day Social Scientists’ Meet on February 23rd-25th, 2011 at ICSSR-NERC, NEHU Campus, Shillong.
The meet will bring together doctoral and post-doctoral scholars (below the age of 40) from all the disciplines of the social sciences working on any topics with a specific focus on Northeastern India. Scholars affiliated to institutions in the North Eastern region are especially encouraged to apply. ICSSR-NERC will provide accommodation and hospitality during the Social Scientists Meet and bear the expenses of road or Sleeper Class train fare to travel for participants from outside Shillong.
